viewing stones are often associated with bonsai.  the traditional way to display them is the daiza,  like this

 

i  think that if these stones represent mountains,  why not display them with a mountain setting.  Sort of similar to bonkei, which is a tray landscape.  I call mine the mountain reflecting lake landscape.
